"The
ALL-TIME hottest dance track to explode across my desk!"

This
is Sean's remix of a collaboration between New York underground
icon Lydia
Lunch and Italian DJ duo Blow-Up,
who themselves have recently remixed tracks by Madonna,
The Flaming
Lips, Blondie,
Yoko Ono and even Rod Stewart's Da Ya Think I'm Sexy? |
|
| |
The remix is completely different to the original version, with
Blow-Up's heavy backing replaced by brand new music at double
the original tempo, using a rhythm similar to that of Ex-Rental's
Sophie's Audition (at the request of Blow-Up, who've often
played that song at their Los Angeles club Metamorfico). |
|
| |
The
remix appears on the US and European editions of Blow-Up's Exploding
Plastic Pleasure album (Electrovenus
Records), which also features tracks recorded with Blondie's
Deborah Harry and the late Dee Dee Ramone, and can be ordered
from Amazon here
(US edition) and CDBaby here
(European edition). |
